Department of the Automotive Industry
The Department of the Automotive Industry has been created within the Association to ensure active participation of the Association members and representatives of other Management System Certification Bodies interested in solving the problems of developing, improving and applying standards for management systems in the automotive industry, including the formation of requirements for schemes and the process of conformity assessment, increasing the authority of certificates of conformity.
The Department of the Automotive Industry includes representatives of Certification Bodies accredited/approved to conduct certification of management systems of organizations operating in this industry, according to a number of relevant standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GOST R 58139, VDA 6.3.
The Association maintains all control mechanisms that ensure a transparent certification process. The Supervisory Committee oversees compliance with the rules and the correctness of audit results, and also manages the process of auditor development and certification. The Supervisory Committee is in constant contact with OEM manufacturers and develops recommendations for improving the audit process.

- Certification of cybersecurity systems
- Training according to automotive standards and tools – IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP).
Within the framework of the department, starting from December 1, 2023, the EADAS platform (https://eadas.ru) has been organizing the placement of data for verification of conducted audits/issued certificates of conformity according to the automotive standard.
The information on the portal is posted by international certification bodies, which together cover almost all issued automobile certificates in the Russian Federation.
The main objective is to preserve and support the effective automobile certification system that has existed for many years. The EADAS platform contains information about companies that continue to undergo all necessary assessments and audits according to automobile standards. The Association members follow the rules for conducting international audits and conduct certification according to the scheme published on the portal.
The posting of information on the portal is agreed upon and supported by automobile manufacturers – AvtoVAZ, GAZ, KAMAZ, UAZ, AZ URAL, etc.
