The Eurasian Association for Conformity Assessment and Certification is an association of leading organizations in the field of conformity assessment, standardization, and certification in order to ensure uniform approaches to conformity assessment and standardization.
The Eurasian Association for Conformity Assessment and Certification is committed to strengthening trust in conformity assessment and supporting the global accreditation framework.

APAC is the regional accreditation body for the Asia Pacific region, recognized and endorsed by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). APAC (formerly APLAC, PAC) began in 1992 as a regional forum for accreditation bodies and is recognized by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) as one of four APEC Specialized Regional Bodies (SRBs) that support the work of the APEC Sub-Committee on Standards and Conformity. APAC currently has 85 members, including Bodies from China, India, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and others.
APAC’s strategic goal is to provide formal recognition to accreditation bodies in the Asia-Pacific region to facilitate the recognition of conformity assessment results obtained by conformity assessment bodies accredited by full members of APAC.
STRUCTURE OF INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION
Regional associations of accreditation bodies (APAC, AFRAC, ARAC, EA, IAAC, SADCA) are engaged in promoting mutual recognition of conformity assessment results of incoming participants.
Regional associations interact and recognize each other at the international level through participation in IAF and ILAC.

The agreement with the Association was signed by leading and internationally recognized certification bodies with more than 20,000 valid certificates from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China and other countries.
ECA and its members are committed to operating in full compliance with all applicable international regulations, including those related to trade, and cross-border conformity assessment activities;
Certification activities are conducted with appropriate due diligence to ensure that services are not provided in violation of applicable restrictions.
ECA requirements for participating bodies exceed the requirements of national and international accreditations and detailed control over the process ensures objective, recognized results.
ECA certified clients represent countries of Eurasia and the global South and through their participation they share the values of the Association’s strategy and approaches.
ECA specialists take part in the development of standards, including within the framework of the International Organization for Standardization. ECA members are experts in various fields, such as quality management, environmental protection, information security, social responsibility, food safety and others.
ECA specialists are involved in the continuous improvement of standards. Professionals in their fields of expertise, through the work of the relevant committees, update international standards, including within the framework of the International Electrotechnical Commission.
ECA members support the UN Global Compact as the largest corporate social responsibility and sustainable development initiative, whose mission is to improve the global movement of sustainable companies.
