The Eurasian Association for Conformity Assessment and Certification (ECA) supports the objectives of Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated by promoting the international recognition of accredited conformity assessment results, strengthening confidence in accreditation systems, and contributing to the harmonization of conformity assessment practices.

Certification bodies participating in ECA operate under accredited frameworks in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 within relevant national and internationally recognised accreditation systems. This ensures a high level of competence, consistency, and global credibility of certification activities.

The Association’s mission is aligned with global objectives to facilitate international trade through the acceptance of accredited results, reduce technical barriers to trade, and enhance trust in conformity assessment.

ECA supports cooperation among its members by enabling the exchange of information on national regulatory requirements and facilitating access to international markets.

The Association also establishes and maintains professional relationships with industry, consumers, regulators, governmental bodies, and non-governmental organisations, contributing to the development of a transparent and reliable conformity assessment environment for following schemes:

Many years of world practice prove that the implementation and certification of management systems increases the stability and effectiveness of processes in all sectors of the economy.

Within the association, industry working groups are engaged in the development and adaptation of both generally recognized international standards and the development of new conformity assessment schemes.

Today, a wide range of programs has been created, ranging from quality management systems to standards related to food safety, sustainable development, and much more.

The structure and content of the Association’s programs are comparable to accepted international standards and provide a full assessment to confirm compliance with international, industry and customer-specific requirements.
